I did notice the first is an AFRS release, kdmarket, referencing Edgar's birthday. So the February 20, 1944 date is correct on the first. The second show is labeled in playback March 24, 1946, starting with the song "Now I Know" and having a truncated end. The AFRS show date has been validated by Goldin. They are in fact two separate shows with the second misdated.

Charlie has written a new song and wants to bribe Peter Potter to play his records. Bergen explains hurricanes to Mortimer Snerd. The program plays a recording of Bob Manning singing, "The Very Thought of You." Professor J. Kirkwood speaks about, "How to bend a wire." Eric Warner is a "pholuminist," a collector of match covers. Edgar Bergen's End Table topic: "The Farm Problem." Edgar Bergen, Gary Crosby, Ray Noble, Jack Kirkwood, Carol Richards, The Mellomen, Howard Petrie (announcer, performer), Eric Warner, Peter Potter. 54:59.
