Pat French has died.
Just read on OTRPlus that Pat French, the wife of Jim French and the long-time voice of Murphy in THE ADVENTURES OF HARRY NILE, has passed on.
Sorry to hear that. Deepest condolences to the family and all associated with Jim French Productions.
Best regards

Re: Pat French has died.
Pat French died on Monday at 4:05 PM. She was 87 years old.
I can remember when I first met Jim and Pat French in 1976. It was at a performance of Robert Vaughn's one-man show, FDR.
I was already a fan of Jim's shows and Pat's performances. I have continued to be a fan through out the years.
In 1998 I interviewed Jim French for an article for the OTR club newsletterI edited. During that interview, we talked a bit about the Golden Age of Radio and much information about the many series and the shows had been lost. I then asked Jim if I could help document his shows so information on his shows would not suffer a similar fate. That is how I got into compiling and updating broadcast logs of his various series.
Signing off for now,

Re: Pat French has died.
I'm so sorry for the loss. The voices and faces of the Golden Age of entertainment are passing. But their legacy will live on.
