THE END OF AN ERA
Contemporary Radio Dramatist Jim French died today.
Jim wrote and or produced over 1000 shows from 1965 thru 2017.
He was 89 years old and had been in declining health for several months.
Rest in peace my old friend.

Re: THE END OF AN ERA
A sad loss. But he had a 52 year career, of doing what he loved. That's a life well lived.
Re: THE END OF AN ERA
Yes, it definitely is the end of an era. We do have his shows to remember him by, with Harry Nile as the longest running detective series on radio.
A very talented man, he lost his wife of over 66 years earlier this year.
He will be missed.
