Suspense burnout
I'm up to 1946 in the Suspense series and am finding something odd.
I will sometimes figure out the twist well in advance of the end, so I know early on that, oh, the dog is really a toy, or the infant killed the minister. I think it's because they developed a pattern for these things and stuck with it. I hope it gets less predictable.
I'm also getting burned out hearing Cathy Lewis as female characters! Sheez, was she sleeping with somebody??
(Well, technically, yes, she was!)
