kdmarket,
My copy of Charlie McCarthy Show 1944-01-23 AFRS#51 ends abruptly at around 20:21. I can post if you want but I'm guessing you are trying to locate a complete file.

Re: Old Time Radio Show Requests
I'm looking for a LET'S PRETEND episode, specifically the 1953 version of "Cinderella," in which Sybil Trent fills in for host Uncle Bill. I have a good-sounding 1947 version that's sometimes mislabeled as '53. It runs 20:26, features Uncle Bill as the host, and opens with the Cream of Wheat jingle.
There's a 1940s Columbia Records version of the play, too. I'd be interested in hearing that, if someone could point me to an online copy.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Old Time Radio Show Requests
Been trying to tidy up my collection of The Haunting Hour. There are several with known titles that do not appear to be in general circulation. Just checking to see if anyone has any of the following tucked away in the good old sock drawer:
45/xx/xx 2 The Best Laid Plans
45/xx/xx 11 A Date With Destiny
45/xx/xx 14 Out of the Night OBTAINED
45/xx/xx 19 The Way Of The Transgressor

45/xx/xx Key To A Murder
45/xx/xx Reprieve To Death
45/xx/xx The Briefcase
45/xx/xx The Dead Strike Back OBTAINED
It's a syndicated series, so dates, episode numbers and such may vary

Re: Old Time Radio Show Requests
Great! Thanks Wildcat
KD, I'd checked most of those places. OTRCAT and the Archive link each had he same files as the other including at least two misnamed files (I don't know how as the titles are given during the program) and one BBC program whose actual title is "Haunted". But thanks for the links anyway

Re: Old Time Radio Show Requests
Thank you for posting these Wildcat44. Three of these I did not have. Just to let everyone know, the episode titled "Way of The Transgressor" has the title announcement at the begin of the episode edited out. It is actually titled "Death By Request". I have this one in my collection so that is how I knew. You folks may want to check your holdings regarding this one.

Sorry about the mistake. I guess you can't always trust Radio Vault subscription service.

Oh! no apology necessary! I just wanted to let you know about it for accuracy sake. I'm thankful for the other three you posted. I did not have those. I like this series so it's a great treat to get more of them.

Re: Old Time Radio Show Requests
Pretty much. I have 40 because there were two episodes I did not keep because the audio was so poor I couldn't understand what they were saying.

Re: Old Time Radio Show Requests
Thanks for the add'l info Harlow. I'd like to add that there is a circulating show with the Title "Death of Jonathan" Dreadful sound, no opening or closing which explains why it is also misidentified. The correct Title is "Revenge" and it is commonly available as a more complete, more listenable file
