Eddie South and His International Orchestra, Joan Harvey (commercial spokesman), Everett Barksdale (vocal, guitar), Clifford King (clarinet), Antonio Spaulding (piano), Milt Hinton (bass), J. Wright Smith (violin), Jimmy Bertrand (drums). 14:00. 

Eddie South and His International Orchestra. 1933. Program #1. Cheloni Skin syndication, Columbia transcription. Cheloni Skin. A refined-jazz, hotel band sound. Excellent music of this kind, played by a polished orchestra. The first tune is, "I'm Playing With Fire." The announcer mentions that the show is presented by "Weaver-Jackson" (a chain of beauty shops in Los Angeles). The programs were recorded between December, 1932 and June, 1933 at the studios of Recordings Inc., Los Angeles.
