Harpsichord and lute/vocal. Bulletin at 4:06: a report from KGU, Honolulu, from the roof of the Advertiser Building. The unidentified announcer says "the attack has been going on three hours. This is no joke, this is real war." The telephone company operator ends the transmission for an "emergency call." Reports from New York: H. R. Baukhage reports from Washington (about seven minutes). At 4:20, a "piano recital" is announced, but organ music is heard! At 4:23, Baukhage reports from the Press Room of the White House. He reads a message from President Roosevelt to the Emperor of Japan (four minutes). Sylvia Marlowe, Richard Dyer-Bennet, H. R. Baukhage.

...at the time they weren't letting anyone have any of the recordings, but within a few years Goldin had managed to get a copy of Light's Golden Jubilee. I wonder if any of the other recordings from that stash have become available?
