Tell My Story
May 1, 1954

A half-hour dramatic program on mental health produced by the National Association for Mental Health, starring Fredric March as Narrator. March begins the program by comparing mental illness to an internal H-bomb. This is dramatized in several scenes: a woman is inconsolable as she insists that her newborn child is not hers; a woman accuses her husband of cheating; a father abuses his son; a man, recently promoted to management believes that his jealous co-workers are gunning for his job; and an elderly woman is afraid to die alone.

For the Jack Linkletter show Teen Club, it was on the air on Sundays which does not match 54-11-23. I had it in my collection under 54-11-23 and 55-01-xx. I don't know what the correct date is. Just letting people know if anyone wants to try to figure it out.

Obviously the date is wrong . Not a sunday.

But maybe is it parts to 2 shows ? Listings have it for 45 min each week. The copy is close to one hour.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Songs are from late 54 early 55.

It seems to restart about half way thru. With no commercials two shows would be feasable.
