From Goldin: The Feenamint National Amateur Night. February 23, 1935. Mutual net, WINS, CKLW, WNAC, WGN, WLW. WINS, New York aircheck. Feenamint, Dillard's Aspergum (part of one commercial deleted). The 61st show of the series, but the first show broadcast over a special (un-named) network consisting of WINS, CKLW, WNAC, WGN, WLW (500,000 watts strong, starting on this station "next week"), other Mutual affiliates. The program originates from the Majestic Theatre in New York City. The cast includes, "Miss Brazil.". Ray Perkins (host), Arnold Johnson and His Orchestra, The Roche String Quartet, Jimmy Jackson, Joanne Jackson (singer), Goode and Beard (duo-pianists), Milton Wiser (harmonica), Lillian Turner (a 230-pound blues singer).

Pet Corner, hosted by Alexius Baas on behalf of the Dane County Humane Society, was a weekly radio show which aired in Madison, Wisconsin.  The show featured animal-related material, such as poetry, interviews, and featured stories on individual animals.

Here's another Blind Date. September 28, 1945. ABC net, New York City. Benrus watch (local), Pebeco Toothpaste, Hinds Cream, Etiquette. 8:00 P.M. Six servicemen compete for dates with three beautiful girls. A contestant is asked to complete this poem, "He who fights and runs away...the answer comes back: "Gets Court Martialed.". Arlene Francis (m.c.), Ken Roberts (announcer), Charles Stark (commercial spokesman).
