The K. C. Jamboree. August 12, 1944. NBC net. Kansas City Baking Powder (the only baking powder packaged in glass), General Mason Caps. Heard on NBC, this program originated from Kansas City, likely from the NBC affiliate, KMBC in Kansas City. Some of these excerpts may be from the program of October 4, 1944. The first tune is, "On Mexico's Beautiful Shore." Curley Bradley sings, "San Antonio Rose." This show give an unusual chance to hear Curley Bradley without thinking of "Tom Mix", Jose Bethancourt playing the marimba without thinking of those hundreds of NBC programs he performed on from WMAQ in Chicago and, of course, Clarence Hartzell doing comedy without sounding liked"Uncle Fletcher.". Smokey Lohman; Clarence Hartzell ; Barbara Marshall (vocalist); The Prairie Ramblers; Elmira Ressler; Jose Bethancourt; Curley Bradley;
Its incomplete and rough but its the only one I have

Open House Party. April 10, 1943. Blue Network. Sustaining. A program to celebrate Paul Whiteman being named "Director Of Music" of the Blue network. Rudy Vallee and The King's Men sing, "The Wiffenpoof Song." Gracie Allen performs her, "Concerto For Index Finger." The president of the Los Angeles musicians union presents Gracie with an honorary life membership. Jimmy Dorsey and His Orchestra perform from The Cafe Rouge Of The Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City. Ed Gardner does a "Duffy's Tavern" routine. Mildred Bailey, Paul Whiteman's first female vocalist, sings "Rockin' Chair." Morton Downey, Paul Whiteman's first male vocalist sings, "Carolina Moon." Morton performs from WMAL in Washington D. C., accompanied by Jimmy Dorsey's orchestra in New York City! Dr. Walter Damrosch recalls his early years with the Blue network and praises Paul, who then conducts an excerpt from "The Rhapsody In Blue" (Jesus San Roman, soloist), portions of which have been deleted. Chester Lauck and Norris Goff appear as, "Lum and Abner." Don McNeill tells the history of Paul's life, from Toledo, Ohio. Tom Breneman, in Hollywood with Paul, presents Paul with an orchid and gives him a kiss! Gracie Fields sings a familiar old army song, Johnny Mercer recalls his first meeting with Paul and sings, "Lazy Bones." Rudy Vallee reads telegrams from Bing Crosby, Dinah Shore, and the president of the Blue network. Three orchestras (Henry Busse and His Orchestra, Tommy Dorsey and His Orchestra, and Matty Malneck and His Orchestra), in three different cities (Oakland, San Diego and Los Angeles) all play the same tune at the same time ("Honeysuckle Rose"). It works, sort of. John Milton Kennedy (announcer), The King's Men, Gracie Allen, Jimmy Dorsey and His Orchestra, Ed Gardner, Mildred Bailey, Morton Downey, Walter Damrosch, Jesus San Ramon, Chester Lauck, Norris Goff, Don McNeill (from Toledo, Ohio), Tom Breneman, Rudy Vallee (host), Paul Whiteman, Gracie Fields, Johnny Mercer, Henry Busse and His Orchestra, Tommy Dorsey and His Orchestra, Albert Coats (? conductor of The London Symphony), Ferde Grofe, Paul Lavalle, Matty Malneck and His Orchestra, David Drummond (writer), Ashmead Scott (writer), Robert Moss (producer, director in Hollywood), Gene Hamilton (assistant in New York). 1:44:12.
