Audacity is my favorite! When you're first learning it, be sure to keep your original copy of a file intact so you can go back to it if you're not happy with how you edited or processed it. There are better programs that cost lots of money. But Audacity is one of the most successful open source collaboration software efforts for a specialty product in the history of computing. I do a lot of recording for reference of live events i go to using a <$50 dictation recorder. Audacity has been marvelous for cleaning those up and making them listenable. The OTR uses have been incredibly helpful of course!

It must have been a busy day for the folks at pCloud because I noticed that the downloads were taking a lot longer than usual.

After checking my machine and router parts I made several queries to the PcCloud team. After a couple of back and forths they offered, "You can stop (pause) the file and then download it to your device. Unfortunately, you can't stop buffering the file at this time."

Have I been asleep all this time or is this something new from them? For me on DSL it just means I can make a coffee and lunch. If you are metered you might want to check your totals a little sooner.
