CBS produced a series called CBS is There in 1947. The Title was later changed to You Are There. It began on July 7, 1947 and the 89th and last episode aired on June 11, 1950.
It's interesting that The History Channel on TV has released a series called I Was There debuting on Feb 21, 2022. The debut episode was The Hindenberg Disaster; then Johnstown: America's Deadliest Flood; Chernobyl Disaster; The Death Of Jesse James; Killer In The White City.
Lincoln's Assassination & The Salem Witch Trials were both featured in the original radio series.
Interesting to see this surface after 75 years.
