Box 13

I am just finishing the last half dozen files in this very bassy set. Is there any interest in a set of digitally improved sound files for this series? All are modified to remove clicks and static and sound is enhanced by matching the EQ to a Sarah McLachlan album (can't remember the song) and then reconverted to 96kb mp3 files. If you have a set of 64kb (12mb) files of these that sound like mud you will find these a big improvement. I am hamstrung by DSL with an upload speed of 40kb (yes, kilobits) but if there are at least 6 people interested I will post them on PCloud. -otrhead

If you don't mind be butting in, there was an excellent set of this series shared on the Otrplus site back in February of 2010 by John Olsen, long time OTR collector. At the following link you can read about it and the shows are still available for download. I just checked.

Is the John Olsen set available on a platform other than mediafire?

The sound is much better than the 64kb set. I only downloaded a couple to compare, if I had these earlier I might not have put in the effort to fix my set. I expect the sound improvements I made to the 64kb set will be much less when compared to the Olsen set.

Meanwhile this was the 2nd download I tried and it sounds like this is a little better .....Box13 49-06-19 Killer at Large.
