It looks like you and I are in the same boat, CD Man. I'd pick up an oar and row, but I've nothing more to add and would end up going in circles. Sorry.

Thanks 99, but I'm afraid this version is the 1947-06-02 one with Jolson & Gail Patrick. The 1936 original was Jolson & Karen Morley, which I haven't yet been able to find.

Ah, Lux Radio Theatre. One of my all time favorite series'. I remember years ago, when a group of us were uploadin' the entire series to the old server. I think it was Bill_Atkins, Harley and me. I was postin' shows from a set I'd bought off of Ebay, from a seller there. And it turned out that that set had several undocumented shows in it. So, I went back to Ebay and bought quite a few other series' and started comparin' em' to various logs and found a few more "lost" episodes.

Of course that also resulted in workin' poor nightkey to a frazzle. Because an Adventures of Superman set I'd bought and started postin' from, had a ton of mislabeled episodes. And nightkey was never one to let mislabeled shows get loose in the wild.

Absolutely! Incidentally where is Nightkey? Has he dropped out?

I posted this series on the previous version of CC about 7 years ago using the Billing-Pierce book as my guide. There have been a lot of sound upgrades since then but I haven't found any of the missing shows yet.

Don't worry about it 99. I should have listed the stars so you could have checked it. I'll do that with future posts.

Here's one of the upgrades you were looking for. The opening is clipped so it may or may not be an improvement. I hope it works out.

I truly wish I knew where nightkey is. And I certainly hope all is well. I worry when our regulars just disappear.
