Bold Venture - Ziv Archives

Hello Creeps
Some of you know about this, some do not.
Carl Amari has licensed the entire Ziv Archive of transcription discs. There are over 10,000 discs.
He wants to release the audio as it gets transferred. The costs involved in this are hefty. The best way to
get costs covered is Kickstarter. We reach more people and they can pledge what they like. The process is transparent. They collect the money and distribute it. Everyone can see where the project stands. There is nothing shady about it.
Bold Venture is the first show out of the box. ALL 78 shows produced.
A 3.5 minute audio sample will be posted on the Kickstarter page for everyone to hear.
Cobalt Club members can hear it now on Soundcloud.

This is all of course provided the project is approved by the Kickstarter folk. There is no reason it should not be. It has not been submitted as it is still a work in process. I wanted to start getting the word out.

VENTURE is one of those shows that I want to like; great elements in place. But it just doesn't quite jell, for me...

As far as Carl doing KICKSTARTER - I've been saying for a long time, that that should be a (not the) model going forward, for such projects. The Old Heads just have to let go of the  half-century-old outdated Trader's Group, Buyer's Club, etc. modes.

Where may I go to keep updated on the Ziv project? I'd be interested in the proposed tech details as well... transfer, restoration, distribution formats.
