Tracy made his first appearance in the Detroit Mirror. I found the Free Press in newspapers.com, and it wasn't there, so I did some further investigation and found it was in the Mirror.

I did find the first appearance in the NY newspaper... a few days later. How innocuous it seems...

Tatooine derived its name from Tataouine, a city in Tunisia located near the site where various scenes were filmed.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I've actually been sick for almost a week. I'm much better now so it was just a cold. I'm a outdoors person so being stuck in the house for a week was kinda like the Shining movie for me. Drove me nuts.
