Just started looking at the Ellery Queen files and spotted a misidentified episode in KD's files.

The Program "World Series Crime" was done twice. The 1942-10-10 version had as guests Pierre Huss & Benay Venuta. As far as I can tell, this episode is not available but PLEASE feel free to prove me wrong.

The 1943-10-02 The "World Series Crime" had as guests Art Flynn & Ken Sears subbing For Joe Gordon. This is the circulating version and the one that was posted

Since it is Remembrance Day Tom, I'd like to thank you for your service. I'm not American but if not for the arsenal of democracy, where might we all be today?

Thank you Gordon. I'll tell you a little story. In 1958 the submarine squadron I was attached to was in St Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands. A Canadian cruiser tied up on the same pier. They asked us if we wanted to take part in a smoker (boxing match). We lost six out of seven matches. We later found out that the Captain of the Cruiser was a big boxing fan and he recruited the best boxers in the Canadian military lol. The joke was on us. It was great fun even though we lost.

Yesterday was spent packing "Operation Christmas Child" shoe boxes at church. Long story short, we packed 1015 shoe boxes. Not bad for a church our size.
