Thanks for these collections! Here's some more goodies in return:

1930s Baseball games (as far as I can research these are all the broadcasts of 1930s games known to survive to this day - 41 in total, with the first being from 1934. There's far too many to list here, with the majority of them being All-Star Games and World Series related):

02/05/1946 Barry Gray's Nightclub with Doris Day & Doodles Weaver

Strange Interlude: I know it best from Groucho Marx in Animal Crackers (or maybe Cocoanuts). With the usual chaos breaking out, Groucho would walk upstage next to a curtain and mysteriously intone some semi-mystical fluff in a deep, resonant voice. He'd pause and slowly pace backwards and rejoin the chaos, already in progress.

I'll give this a try, but O'Neill, like Neil Young, is an artist I respect more than I enjoy.

Thanks again to everyone for the help! Here's some shows in return, over 50 of them:

(All of these are from WeTransfer links)

1940s Baseball games (like the 1930s games I posted, these are all that are known to exist (41 total). Like last time, these mostly consist of World Series games and All Star games, but unlike last time, there are some complete World Series sets from 1945, 1948, and 1949, which have all of the recordings extant with no missing games. There's also a tribute to Babe Ruth in there from after he passed in 1948, and a special All-Star game from 1942 between the American League all stars and all stars from the Army and Navy):

Apologies for being absent these past few days, I've had more going on than I expected too. Not too many hours in the day, as I found out the hard way. Here's some stuff in return to make up for my absence:

1950s Baseball (100 files worth of Baseball games broadcast during the 1950s):

(the files have been split into two parts due to the size of them)

Part 1:

Part 2:

An ultra-rare recording:

Opening Night of the War Memorial Opera House in San Francisco, 10/15/1932

Thanks again to everyone, and sorry for the delay!

Old Time Radio Show Requests - Page 8 Empty Re: Old Time Radio Show Requests

1930s Baseball games (as far as I can research these are all the broadcasts of 1930s games known to survive to this day - 41 in total, with the first being from 1934. There's far too many to list here, with the majority of them being All-Star Games and World Series related):

Can anyone tell me what games were in this post? I had hoped to snag some needs at the change in month, but no dice.

Can't afford to buy a pcloud plan on my ssi.

Thanks much.

Tom

The Campbell Playhouse returned to radio November 29, 1940, as a 30-minute weekly CBS series that was last broadcast June 13, 1941.

Does anyone have any of these shows?

I looked around and didn't find anything from that run. The closest thing I found that might be of interest is a an interview with Orson Welles and H.G. Wells from 10/07/1940:

(this is the full 24 min version, most circulating versions are a 8 min abbreviated version)
