A Ticket to Tomahawk (1950)
Starring: Starring Dan Daily and Anne Baxter. And if you'll watch carefully, you'll find a young Marilyn Monroe in an uncredited role as Clara. Does anyone detect a trend yet?

Gimme a minute Jeff. I ain't done yet. I'm about to pop some Andrews Sisters in here. Because... well, it's the Andrews Sisters.
Re: The Cobalt Club Screening Room
The movie here is just a framework for the music. And I'm fine with that!
Private Buckaroo (1942)
Starring: The Andrews Sisters, Joe E. Lewis and Donald O'Conner.

That'll do it for tonight. But I may come back and add a few more at some point this weekend. Once I started diggin' for musicals, they just kept poppin' up. And even though I'm a classic rock fan, whose ears are still ringin' from a 77' Zeppelin concert (true story), my musical tastes are broad. And I love this period.

Love any movie with the Andrew Sisters in it. Those ladies knew how to sing. And that ain't no jive.
Thanks Space great selections as always. I am always in there looking for your SciFi gems.

You're welcome Guys. I tend to offer the things I enjoy. But I like to also offer variety. And Seamus, request noted.
I promised more music. And this movie is pretty forgettable, other than the music. But the music is totally next level.
New Orleans (1947)
Starring: Arturo De Cordova and Dorothy Patrick. With Musical Performances by Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday and Woody Herman and His Orchestra.

OK, I went totally couch potato and forgot to come back for cinema fantastique. So I'm way behind and you guys are gonna get a triple helpin' of CHEESE. Startin' off with a total pile of Limburger. But it's a personal favorite of mine and in full 1080p. Don't panic when the title comes up. The movie is in English.
The Giant Claw (1957) 1080p BluRay
Starring: Jeff Morrow and Mara Corday.

Re: The Cobalt Club Screening Room
It just doesn't get much cheesier than this. A made for TV Flash Gordon movie from 1955. I'm pretty sure that this was stitched together from a TV series. But I haven't been able to locate proof of that. So, let's just accept it for what it is. Good goofy fun.
Zydereen of Neptune (1955)
AKA The Witch of Neptune.
Starring: Steve Holland and Ilene Champlin.

Runnin' behind again. But I'll try to make up for it with quality. And maybe a bit of seasonal fare, to compliment what Jeff's doin' in the Balcony.
The Bells of St. Mary's (1945)
Starring Bing Crosby and Ingrid Bergman.

My little seasonal heart is beatin' like a drum, Space. What a fantastic array. And Alistair Sim is unmatched!

SURPRISE!!!
Well, it is the season of joy and miracles. So here's a mid-week bit of wonder, which went missing for a few decades. The original presentation of Rodgers and Hammerstein's version of Cinderella. Created and presented in 1957 for CBS Television. Starring Julie Andrews in the role of Cinderella.
