Hi bojim1, you're either up late or up early, but I guess you could be in Europe or elsewhere. That's the wonder of the internet. I can remember sending cd's through snail mail all over the world and wondering if they would ever arrive.

I remember sending cassettes through snail mail. It usually took 5 or 6 days from the UK to the US but often the package would slip through some sort of alternate dimension and take weeks to arrive. Once a long overdue package sent from the US arrived, stamped with the words "MIS-SENT TO CANADA". It must have happened so often they had an actual rubber stamp with that phrase on it!

"Mis-sent to Canada" now that is funny. I had packages take weeks to get overseas. One package sent to a friend in Canada arrived with the hard drive completely taken apart, but all the pieces were there.

I found an image of the package that I'd saved.
It was wrapped in wrapping paper and they had to peel away a very thin top layer (perhaps by sticking on a sticker and then ripping it off again) to make a blank part to stamp the message on!
