If a log gets done - its gonna have to be by someone like us. It can't be just the first song (like Jerrys) - both 1067 and 1598 that I posted start with the same song. AND Goldin only offers the same level of information:

You'd need a good sized set to start the effort - then maybe list first line and the songs played/band (Do you really need to say this series originated from AFRS? - seems to be an inherent quality) Oh well. Back to cutting up tracks

Finally got around to checking out the Jack Armstrong material. Much better quality than what I had!!! They beat mine in TWO important respects. First, really great sound, oh, the odd click or two here and there but overall crisp and clear. Secondly, they had a distinct advantage over my set in that your 10 part series consisted of 10 different episodes - unlike mine which had 10 programs consisting of only 5 different episodes.

I'd be interested in comparing them with the ones I have. I'd have to wait a while before I can though. I'll be on a cruise with no internet for a week.

You know I do not delete my links, at least not for a few months. Enjoy your cruise. I did my cruising in the Navy on submarines, so I didn't get to see much LOL. My father was a merchant marine captain. In the merchant marine their rank is Captain their title is Master. The irony is that during WWII before my father was a captain he was on six ships that were torpedoed, and I go into the Navy and become a Torpedomans Mate 2nd class on submarines. Go figure.

That's another type of cruise... I hope!! Makes me wonder what the fine print said...!

Well it's official, I just turned 80 years old today. 1939 seems so long ago now. My son sent me a big gift card from Amazon so I think I'll buy some new hearing aids, or maybe a new glass eye, perhaps a new wooden leg or a wig, Naa, I'll just get some new electronic stuff LOL.
