I wouldn't call it horror or SF either but it certainly is strange to today's ears. At three minutes each, it's quick to listen to as well. This might be it's best feature as I can't image what 30 minutes and episode would be like.

I have agree that 1930's radio is cool though I do prefer the adventure shows from then like Jungle Jim.

I'm glad you are enjoying the Rocky Jordan. My ?collection? is such a mess that I was happy I could find anything in that rats nest. Some Day ....

My wife likes liver and onions, I hate it. Neither of us has ever heard of buttermilk pie.

I've always thought that liver is the homeless brother of venison and I've never liked venison. At that point Onions aren't going to help (Is there enough Ketchup in the world for that?). Throw in Buttermilk anything and its a trip to the emergency room.

I can picture my response to that mixture being like Linda Blair in the Exorcist with all the special effects (including the head spinning around) that film had.

Toebig, your wife has good taste. I love liver and onions - with LOTS of fried onions. Yum! I'm enjoying the General Stores. Thanks much!

Hi lasombra, you either love 'em or hate 'em, liver and onions that is. I'm with JazzMan.

It's always nice to hear that you like what I'm posting. I never know unless people comment. I'm not looking for praise, just what you all like or dislike of the shows I post. So far it looks like horror is the winning type of show. Mystery and adventure next, but who knows for sure?

Thanks again for all of your posts! I for one am definitely enjoying the horror and mystery, and I hope to get into the adventure ones soon when I have a chance.

OK, I slept in a little today. I'm sore and tired from splitting fire wood yesterday and I have to do it again off and on for the next month. Obviously I don't work very hard, but I do split the wood by hand using an 8 pound splitting maul. It keeps me young and handsome. Yeah, tell my old body that.
