ILAMs
Does anyone have a copy of ILAM "Hermit of San Felipe Atavapo" which is not mp3 but as close to the original recordings in WAV or FLAC? I know even the best copy will sound absolutely horrible, but it's been a pet project of mine to try to restore it to at least semi-listenable quality. I recently got some new software which I want to try out on it - I experimented with the mp3 but obviously there are loads of mp3 artifacts in the encode (which is only 48kb to start with!) so I want to try from the freshest copy possible....I did have it on cassette long ago, but can't find it :-/ And of course, I wouldn't mind FLAC/WAV of any other ILAMs if people have them for my collection (can trade) ....any that have sound problems, I will try to improve as well.... I've recently begun switching from mp3 to WAV/FLAC collecting, and though I can't possibly do them all, am trying to subtly clean up files from my favorite shows which have bad hum or glitches, without overdoing it of course as I hate excessive denoising.... hope someone(s) can help :-)

Re: Old Time Radio Show Requests
I tried to post a link to a Molle Mystery theater request for The Creeper. But got a message that new members cannot post links for one week. So if you haven't gotten a copy by next week, I'll post it then.
Sorry about that.

Hi kdmarket,
I don't have many Green Hornet, but here they are. Oops, I tried to send it but still get the message that new members can't send external links for seven days.
If you want them e-mail me at toebig at yahoo dot com   and I'll send you my pCloud link.

Re: Old Time Radio Show Requests
Thanks otrhead, in the past I've done some trading with people using pCloud. I found that if you copy files from one pCloud account to yours, they don't count that against your download limit. I saw that as one of your concerns on the Christmas gift you posted. You are very generous.

Re: Old Time Radio Show Requests
They sound like a little MP3Directcut normalization would help.
Here are 3 other 64kb files with pretty good sound: 471028, 471104, 471111

Does anyone have THE AVENGER series in FLAC format? Can trade if interested... it's not a very loved show, but for some reason, I really like it and my mp3 collection is not very good sound-wise.

Re: Old Time Radio Show Requests
Hi kdmarket, I checked my catalog and I don't have either of those episodes. Sorry. I do have a few mp3 copies I took in trade a long time ago. They are: dated 44-xx-xx epi 66, 44-08-03 Edward Everett Horton, 47-03-20, two undated ones with titles - Joan wants a motor cycle - Computing Joan's income tax. If you want any of them let me know.
