Poor old Michael Shayne's suffering is over. You ever notice how many times these old detectives get knocked out, shot at and generally look like they are losing before they finally win in the end. That's all the episodes I have as usual if you have ant additions or upgrades please post them here.
I asked my wife where she wanted to go on vacation, she said, "I want to go somewhere I've never been before ", I said, "why don't you try the kitchen"!

What one liners? You've been telling jokes here?
A man is hit by a car and falls to the ground, groggy. A samaritan rushes to his side with a pillow and a blanket to keep him warm until the EMT arrive. He says "sir, sir, I'm here with you.
"Are you comfortable?" The man opens his eyes and looks at the man and says...
"Eh.... I make a living..."

I like the one-liners Tom. I personally have been on the "Potato Chip aversion program" for 30 years. It never worked for me either.
I'm finally caught up again with the listening which means that I have been doing way too much paperwork and have been enjoying Christmas helping customers at my store.
Thanks again for all the shares everyone.

As a person interested in history, it was fascinating to hear the March of Time today since it showcased the first week of WWII after Pearl Harbor. Thanks Tom.

I'm kind of a history buff also Gordon, I think that's one of the reasons we collect OTR.

Re: Sharing Shows from my collection
So, now it's my normal routine to post Sunday's shows on Saturday night because I usually run late on Sunday morning. I have to get to church early to set up the computer with the hymns and announcements for projecting up on the screen.
I’ve recently taken up speed reading...last night I read Harry Potter in just 20 seconds……..I know it’s only two words, but it’s a start..

Sorry about being late today. Carolyn got down to church early to take down the Christmas decorations and the car wouldn't start. I had to go exchange cars with her.

For those of you that don't get it, their TV commercial jingle says "What would you do oh oh for a Klondike Bar?"

Thanks for explaining that Tom. I had no idea what the joke was about. I've never actually heard of a Klondike Bar.
The Joe Palooka audition was interesting as it was set during the war an implied that there had been lots of previous action. Perhaps things that happened in the comic strip?
If you still want requests, those Tarzan episodes have been fun. Like Geezer, I love the kids shows and if we can't have a murder a week with Mike, jungle yells might be a good alternative.

Re: Sharing Shows from my collection
Hi Gordon,
That's why I explained the joke. I realized that Klondike Ice Cream bars weren't available all over the world. Some jokes are regional and I didn't want anyone wondering what it was all about.
Believe it or not, Tarzan (the 1950-51 series) is one of my wife's favorites. It must be the he-man of bronze stuff. lol.
Take care,
Tom
