In Judaism, Tuesday is considered to be a lucky day, because in the first chapter of Genesis, the paragraph about Tuesday has the words “it was good” in it twice. So good luck today.

I'm now running about 4 days behind on my listening due to work distractions (even more media interviews which is so weird for me) but wanted to say thanks again to Tom and everyone for the shares. I get lots of groans and more than a few big laughs out of my daughter as I share the Dad jokes Tom.

I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness because it shows me the stars.” –Og Mandino. When I was doing all my backpacking, I would plan my trips (whenever possible) for little or no moon. That way we could really enjoy the stars at night. Nothing like the night sky when you are hundreds of miles away from a big city. Try it, you might like it.

I wanted to go on a diet, but I have way too much on my plate right now.

Today is our 56th wedding anniversary. Originally we were to be married in June, but my younger sister was hit and killed by a drunk driver a couple of weeks prior so we postponed it.

My arthritis has really flared up so we won't be celebrating for a few days (or weeks) until it gets under control.
