We had an interesting evening yesterday. One of our church family that had been raised as a Jew set up and explained the Jewish Seder, or typical Passover meal. It helps us understand the old testament history.

I spotted several pairs of men's Levi's jeans at a garage sale. They were sizes 30, 31, and 32, but I was looking for size 33. So I asked the owner if he had a pair. He shook his head.

"I'm still wearing the 33s," he said. "Come back next year."

The second one is from June 1946. Has report of Charles Butterworth killed in auto accident that happened on June 13, 1946.

The third one is also from June 1946. Barbara Hale and Bill Williams were married on June 22, 1946.

The 1944 show says Martha Raye was granted a Mexican divorce from Neal Lang. That happened 3 February 1944.

Today was pretty bad. We left home at 6:30 am to allow Carolyn a little shopping before my 10:30 appointment. We got to the hospital at 10:15, they prepped me and then I waited until 3:30 pm on one of those hard uncomfortable rolling hospital beds. The removal of the implanted heart monitor took 15 minutes. WE should have been home by noon. We got home at 6 PM. I'm hurting all over from laying on that bed over six hours.

Enough of my venting. Sorry about that. Here's a little for putting up with my ranting.

BTW, I was not complaining about the hospital or nurses. They were all very caring and tried to make me as comfortable as possible. It was just the circumstances of the doctor being called to an emergency.
