Today was pretty bad. We left home at 6:30 am to allow Carolyn a little shopping before my 10:30 appointment. We got to the hospital at 10:15, they prepped me and then I waited until 3:30 pm on one of those hard uncomfortable rolling hospital beds. The removal of the implanted heart monitor took 15 minutes. WE should have been home by noon. We got home at 6 PM. I'm hurting all over from laying on that bed over six hours.
Sorry Tom. Last surgery I had - they were in and out before I even knew it. They left a really nice scar though.

Glad to hear that the surgery went well Tom. The wait sounds terrible but perhaps you had some OTR to listen too? I got to sit around like that a couple of times but I'd rather be the guy who gets to wait around with a broken shoulder or hand than the one they have to rush past me in line.

That snake in yesterday's photo has got to be close to a world record size. A rattlesnake has to be coiled to strike, but it can bite from any position.

Did I ever tell you why I post so many crime, adventure, and scifi shows? My wife loves OTR as much as I do, with the exception of comedy, music variety. For some reason she'll leave the room if I'm playing one. So, if I ever want any alone time guess what I start to play? LOL

I haven't heard hornswoggled in years! It was quite common growing up. I'm going to add that to my daily vocabulary. Another favorite old word is "swell". Anyone else have favorite oldies?

The announcer (identified only as "Mr. Child") is "late" for the start of the program. The first selection is, "Jealousy" played on the accordion. Don't miss nine-year-old Bunny Napoli singing, "I Wonder, I Wonder," she's a natural!. I started the brush (aka weeds) removal from the property Monday. It will take me a couple of weeks to complete. If I was 25 it would take one long day or two easy days lol.
