Obscure shows and episodes Empty Obscure shows and episodes

I don't know if this idea will work or catch on, but after coming across a surprising Burns and Allen Show I had never heard last night, where Gracie was sick and Jane Wyman subbed and played Gracie (very well I might add), I thought it could be interesting to make a thread where people could post other obscure episodes or shows - episodes where they do things differently than normal for some reason .... or just obscure lesser-known series, rehearsals, and cast-only recordings. I'll start the ball rolling with a few of my favorites. I'll add more as I come across them and hope others have some shows they think would fit into this idea...

Burns & Allen w/ Jane Wyman subbing for Gracie:

Life Of Riley w/ Jackie Gleason subbing for William Bendix
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Straight Arrow - spoof made by cast when show was cancelled (not broadcast)

And finally, 2 unbroadcast files with very adult humor (swearing & sexual content!)

Gunsmoke - Xrated & Bloopers (Warning: VERY adult content)
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Guiding Light - hilarious cast-only internal joke disc made for writer Irna Phillips after the show left West Coast to East Coast in 1949 (Warning:  VERY adult humor! - my jaw dropped a few times) - this is mp3, would love a FLAC if anyone has one :-)

Here's an obscure show that was broadcast on CBC Radio in 1938

International Crepitation Contest 1938

It is a little unusual, especially for the time.

I'm posting this show, Majestic Master Of Mystery, because of the unusual premium offered at the end. Your own swastika...of course, it is referring to the original Hindu swastika, but it is very strange to hear it being praised as an exciting "get your very own swastika" premium, now knowing what it would soon represent... it starts around the 10:30 mark if you don't want to listen to the show itself.

I'd almost forgotten about this, thanks for posting it! Would love a high quality transfer if anyone has one. I believe it was frequently pressed as a bootleg (often with the ending bowdlerized!) so finding the best available source would likely be quite a chore. Being as how it was sort of a clandestine recording to begin with, it's unlikely that anything less than a few generations away from the original exists any longer.

Randy Riddle posted it some years ago, but in the same bitrate...

...the files sound the same although the length is different.

I think some forum members are in contact with him on some other site, maybe someone could ask him if he has an upgrade?

Art, that is indeed a timeless classic - but I don't be believe it was either broadcast, or from '38?
