Thomas L Thomas was the guest. From JJ Radio Logs NY Times Thomas was on the show in 1945 - 7/6, 8/3, 8/31, 9/28, 10/26 and 12/7. In 1946 - 1/11, 2/8, 4/5 and 5/17. There are probably others further back. The show is generally listed at 8 PM on WEAF as the Paul Lavalle Orchestra.

Goldin has him for 10/26/45 and 1/11/46.

The bad date came from WHO Des Moines Archives.

So there is no verified date as far as I can tell.

Alice starts the program with "It Had To Be You." The cast does "The Chest Of Hahalava" by Lord Dunsany. Phil sings, "That's What I Like About The South." A Phil Harris-Alice Faye routine that pre-dates the appearances on "The Fitch Bandwagon" and "The Phil Harris-Alice Faye Show.". Phil Harris, Alice Faye, Lionel Barrymore, Leith Stevens and His Orchestra, Del Sharbutt (announcer), Meredith Willson, Eric Snowdon, Lou Merrill, Jeanine Roos, Lord Dunsany (author).
