Junior Hobby Lobby. September 30, 1946. An audition recording for a proposed syndicated "Hobby Lobby" program, using children as the talent. Larry Lee Skinner: a 4-year-old orchestra conductor, also plays a hot cornet solo. A 6-year-old girl spells words frontwards and backwards (they're hard words too). A 14-year-old collects strange bets. A 10-year-old girl plays the piano while blindfolded, wearing woolen mittens, as she tap-dances and sings. A 2 1/2-year-old "wonder boy" does arithmatic, answers questions about history, geography, spelling and names the capitols of countries which are called out from the audience. He then plays the piano and sings! A 16-year-old high school boy has been collecting tinfoil for 5 years, so he can buy a seeing-eye dog. The program concludes with a children's opera company; the performers are aged 4 to 12. A remarkable program, I'd buy it if I were a station manager! The date is subject to correction. Dave Elman, Tony Marvin (announcer), Larry Lee Skinner

Why?
Only because they are easily accessible to anyone who wants them. What's the point of taking shows and re-posting them here? Why not post shows not in the library? It's fun to get something new. But to each his own, I guess. Sorry, feel free.
