I looked through the radio listings in the New York Times for both dates it's not listed in either on WOR. They mentioned the world series being played so it is from October. Goldin lists that as the date and so does OTRCat.
I got mine from Vintage Broadcasts - bad date.
So its probably from Oct 6 1948. The World Series was broadcast on WOR starting at 12:45 and lasted 1 hour 43 minutes. On the Mark was usually on at 2:30 as per 10/13/48 listing. So I guess it was put on after the game close to its usual time.
Thanks for the heads up. I believe another mystery solved.
