Well, with Halloween fast approaching, I guess I'll start sharing a few Halloween theamed programs..
Actually, I did share this one a few years ago, but I think there are probably several folks that missed it. So I'm sharing it again.
"Quiet Please" was a very unique kind of a "quiet" horror series and it pretty much has a cult following.
I know this is the favorite series of a lot of people. It's not necessarily a favorite of mine, but I do have a huge respect for the genius of Creator, Writer and Director, Wyllis Cooper and delivery of host, Ernest Chappell. The writing is wonderful. Under the direction of Wyllis Cooper, the acting is unbelievably terrific and, most important to me, the timing is absolutely perfect. There is one point in this story that I think really exemplified that timing, but I'm not going to mention it now for fear it might hurt the enjoyment of the story, which, in my mind is one of the best in the series. After you've heard this episode, I'd love to hear from you with comments on how you think it compares to other episodes of the series.
In addition to Cooper and Chappell, the performers in this story, "Meeting At Ticonderoga," are:

Ellen Fenwick
Court Benson
Ted Osborne

By the way, Ernest Chappel is not referred to as the Host or Announcer. But rather he is identified as; "The Man Who Spoke To You."
